OFSTED INSPECTION 4th - 5th JULY 2007

We are officially a GOOD school with many OUTSTANDING features

We were visited in school by two Additional Inspectors. They met with the Headteacher, teachers, support staff, pupils, Governors and members of the wider community. A questionnaire was sent out to all parents - we were pleased that there were lots of replies.

The whole process was extremely rigorous, and we were delighted that the outcomes were really positive for all aspects of the work we do in school.

The Inspectors judgements show the school to be graded as GOOD or OUTSTANDING in every apect of our work. If you would like to read the full report please click on the link below:

Classic Indian Dance

On Wednesday 27th June we were honoured to welcome a group of dancers from Southern India into school to perform to us all and to work with Year 4 pupils.

The group joined us through their links with Leicestershire's Churches Together initiative.

Dancers were from Christian, Hindu and Muslim faiths.

We were impressed and amazed by their skill. The children had a chance to try the plate and jug dances - they found them very hard to do!

Well done to those children who were selected to take part in the annual HASP Sports Awards event.
